Requests about renewal of your medicine are primarily made online. However, physical attendance is required when renewing addictive drugs.

Medication order — Online

You can request renewal of your medicine via Selvbetjening (Self-service) or one of the two apps “Min Læge” ("My Doctor") or “Medicinkortet” ("Medicine card"). As soon as the doctor has approved your request, the prescription will be on an online server and you can pick up your medication at an optional pharmacy.

Medication order — Physical attendance

Physical attendance is required when prescribing and renewing addictive drugs.
Addictive drugs are used as a collective term for the following drugs:

• Opioids, i.e. drugs with opioid agonistic effect

• Anxiolytics and hypnotics / sedatives

• Certain drugs with central stimulant effect

• Certain other drugs with potential for addiction or abuse
